We formulate with transparency. Our standard balm uses wild unrefined shea butter, olive phytosqualane, and jojoba ester. If you have a tree nut allergy, we substitute a cold-pressed jojoba and pure squalane emulsion that is 100% nut-free.

We decline this service in the following cases:

  • Active eczema or psoriasis flares with open weeping skin: Friction from dry brushing will aggravate broken epidermis. We suggest waiting until the flare is in remission.
  • Severe fever, infectious illness, or open wounds: Body temperature modulation must remain stable.
  • Recent sunburn or peeling chemical peel areas: Skin requires gentle physical barrier creams without bristle contact.
