"How do I know the metal extraction loop or nail bit used on my skin was not simply rinsed in warm tap water after the last client?"
We never clean instruments in secret or rely on decorative liquid jars. Every non-porous stainless steel and diamond instrument — comedone extractors, micro-tweezers, surgical scalpel handles, and Russian dry nail diamond bits — passes through a three-stage mechanical decontamination sequence.
First, tools are submerged in an enzymatic ultrasonic bath to remove organic proteins. Second, each tool is dried and heat-sealed in an individual medical pouch equipped with an internal and external chemical vapor indicator. Third, pouches are loaded into our medical-grade autoclave chamber and subjected to saturated steam at 273°F (134°C) under 30 PSI pressure. The indicator strip turns from pale ivory to deep brown-black only when heat, steam, and duration parameters are achieved. Your esthetician slices the heat seal chairside immediately before your procedure begins.
