We train licensed Texas estheticians on live apparatus calibration and direct model protocols.

Basic school teaches sanitation rules and passes the state board test. It does not teach you how thin epidermal tissue behaves when you pull 18 inHg vacuum suction across fragile cheek capillaries, or how to maintain a strict 45-degree blade rake along an uneven jawline without nicking the dermal fold. Our esthetics apprentice training in Austin takes place in our active Barton Springs clinical suites. You work directly on silicone skin pads first, calibrating motor speeds, fluid flow rates, and blade bevels. Once mechanical muscle memory is confirmed, you transition to supervised live adult models.

Model appointments allow Austin residents (18+ adults only) to receive clinical procedures at accessible price bands while providing licensed practitioners with supervised bench hours. Across our practice, facial treatments span $20 to $450; body treatments span $15 to $235; hair and scalp services span $55 to $160; nail services span $15 to $85. In our apprentice format, service rates run approximately 40% below our standard master practitioner tiers: a 60-minute clinical facial ranges $45 to $75 depending on apparatus selection, while simple procedural add-ons begin at $20.

Every apprentice working on live models has already completed 750 hours of foundational Texas esthetics curriculum and holds an active state license. A senior master esthetician with continuous bench practice since 2020 stands chairside throughout the entire session. The master esthetician checks skin readiness before active acids are applied, confirms vacuum gauges before tip contact, and inspects extraction beds before barrier lipid creams are pressed. Sessions run slightly longer — plan for 75 to 90 minutes rather than 60 minutes — because our master pauses the service to demonstrate mechanical nuance.

We teach four core practical modules. We do not waste clinic hours on generic salon theory; every student works with actual instruments:

Who this is NOT for: We do not accept unregistered hobbyists, unlicensed practitioners, or beauty counter staff without a current Texas license or pending state examination confirmation. Our facility operates strictly under Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation standards.

For training clinic models: You must be at least 18 years of age. You must not have used oral isotretinoin (Accutane) within the preceding six months, undergone active cosmetic facial laser procedures within thirty days, or have sunburned tissue. Every model completes our clinical health intake and signs an educational service disclosure acknowledging that licensed apprentices under master supervision perform the procedure.
